The Mayor of Yesterday (December 10, 2021)

I think we better get the seatbelt on for Six O’Matic have something along the lines of Dan Deacon at play here, or at least it felt that way initially and before things went a little electro goth on us. This is so far from the beaten track as to do nearly enough to push its own agenda for a new genre for this acts output. I think I’d call it Giddy Retroism because Zoofuls of Odd Associations does fraternise with the sounds of yore and thankfully in the process come back with plenty for us to smile about. Still confused though it must be said!” — mp3hugger.com

Aging (October 25, 2019)

Listening to the track “Shine” feels like watching the sun rise over Jupiter; the strumming of a single acoustic guitar, buried low in the mix, is overlaid by brilliant swells of melody that swirl like clouds of planetary gas, while a chorus of digital blips mimics a flock of alien birds approaching over the horizon. “Shine,” like any good drone or ambient track, completely immerses its listener in sound….
